One thing you can do right now to be happier

Do you ever feel like something is missing?

You’ve achieved most of what you thought was going to make you happy…

…the business, the home, the family, the holidays, the car.

But, there’s still something nagging at you and you can’t quite put your finger on what it is.

All that you know is making more money isn’t the answer – you’ve been there, done that.

What if, there was one tiny shift you could make TODAY that 10X your happiness by this time next week?

It’s actually a lot easier than you think…

…take today for instance.

I woke up this morning expecting to follow the plan that I’d laid out for myself last night., but, the sun was shining (a rare thing in the UK).

The thought of being couped up in my hot office all day like a rabbit in his hutch no ZERO appeal.

As I write this now, I’m sat outside, at one of my favourite coffee shops, sipping on a decaf iced americano and eating one of my favourite post workout meals (see picture below).

I FEEL GREAT!

I’m inspired, I’m happy and I’m living MY life the way that I want to live it.

Can you imagine how I’d feel if I’d have gone home after the gym?

Right now, I’d be writing this to you, wiping sweat from my forehead, looking across the garden waiting for the day to be over so I could go outside and enjoy myself.

The trouble is, by that point I’d have been too tired to even enjoy it.

Imagine doing that day after day…

…imagine the toll that takes on you.

Day after day you repeatedly do what you don’t want to do and instead, do what you think you SHOULD do.

Where’s the fun in that?

The sneaky thing about this is that before you know it – it’s how you operate.

It’s who you are.

It’s crept into every area of your life and just like a vampire it sucks you dry.

Before you know it your wife (or partner) starts saying…

“You’re so negative!”

“WHAT?!”

You blow up because it’s one of the biggest insults you could get…

…you used to pride yourself on seeing the bright side of life.

Where has that gone?

Maybe you can relate to this…

…if you can then here’s FOUR SIMPLE STEPS you can take right now to start changing this.

DISCLAIMER: This even works for the most DIE-HARD hustler.

[Trust me, I’ve been there!]

Here’s what I want you to do…

First, you’ve gotta shift ONE key belief.

You’ve gotta shift from being committed to doing everything you say you’re going to do EXACTLY the way you say you’re going to do it.

Let’s use me as an example again…

Here are my outcomes for today:

Morning Routine – meditation, breath work, journaling and stroll in nature
Workout
Marketing Meeting
Writing
Prepare for a training for The Brotherhood
Deliver Training for The Brotherhood
Chill with Amelia

I went to bed last night expecting to wake up, do my morning routine, go to the gym and drive straight to the office.

BUT…

…as you know things changed.

5 years ago I would NOT have listened to what I wanted.

I would have driven to the office because that’s what was in my diary and that’s what I said and I do what I say I’m going to do.

My life was NOT spontaneous.

There was no FREEDOM.

But, before you can be flexible you’ve gotta listen to yourself.

Start listening to what YOU want and start small.

Like today, all I wanted was to be in the sun AND work.

I love to work, I wasn’t trying to avoid it but I also wanted my needs met.

So I came here and did the meeting from here and have also done my writing here, I might even prep for the training here, I don’t yet – I’ll see how I feel 😉

After you listen to yourself, ask yourself better questions.

What do you want?

It might take a few minutes for you to come up with a solution, but hang in there, it’s worth it.

There will be some trial and error, you might go through phases when you feel that “you’re wasting time”.

YOU’RE NOT! [Trust me on this one].

This is a muscle that you’ve gotta work out – just like hitting the gym, it’s not pretty at first but once you get those reps in you quickly adapt.

Once you choose to live this way, watch at the changes that take place all over your life.

You’ll start saying NO a lot more and YES to yourself.

Your life will go from being black and white to full HD colour (that’s how one guy in The Brotherhood described it anyway).

If you’ve read any of my content before then you’ll also know that POWER comes after PEACE (phase 1).

PEACE reconnects you to WHO you are, POWER enables you know WHAT you want.
Have fun with this.

But, maybe you don’t need that, let me correct that – HOPEFULLY you don’t need that.

The reality is brother, you’re already a POWERFUL MAN you’ve just forgotten how to be one in a world where men have been left behind.

Once you master this it opens the door to the next phase what we call… Alpha Seduction!
