As human beings, we need other human beings to survive. And in a relationship, it’s important to be able to articulate what your needs are and take a stand for your needs, not coming from a place of neediness but coming from the place of leadership.
There is power in understanding what your needs are in the relationship. There are certain things that you must do for yourself to bring your best self into the relationship. If you are not doing those, then you become needy in an unhealthy way.
