When we’re upleveling, our trajectory is going up but at some point we reach the plateau level and we tend to get comfortable.  That’s when this level becomes our norm.

While we’re in this space, we don’t realize that we’re starting to slip back into some of our old habits and old ways. Instead of regressing backwards it’s important we take a real look at this and put in the work to grow into the next phase. 

Like in every relationship, losing that spark in the relationship is a reflection of how you feel about YOURSELF. We become too comfortable in the relationship that we forget to work on it.

Building a relationship is a continuous process that should be upleveling and require hard work and effort.

In this episode, we talk about HOW to reignite your relationship when you’re in this place. First and foremost it should start within you. We always create that romantic view of the other person yet we are not creating that romantic view of ourselves for our partner.

Improving the status of the relationship should start by improving how you see yourself first. We talk about a few ways to do this – meditate, always groom, look good and bring home that level of attractiveness in order to seduce your partner.

Do the things together that you both enjoy doing. Surround yourself with people you who you can confide with. Find the pattern and close the gaps in the relationship if there is any and it will give you a direct line to where you want your relationship to be.

In this 2-part episode, Tim shares his recent experience in his relationship with his partner and how this experience helped build up their relationship to be stronger and deeper.

We sometimes have this feeling of not being desired or loved in our relationship and we tend to expect something from our partners in order to reignite the intimacy. We put a number on the love that we are receiving from our partner without even realizing it. 

In this episode, we explore how you may be making her feel frustrated because she doesn’t know anymore what to do for you to feel loved and desired in spite of going all out in the relationship. What we feel is not a reflection of the relationship but it is a reflection of how we feel about ourselves.

Doug and Tim walked through how he was projecting some of the gaps he felt within himself onto the relationship. Wanting his partner to fix it but in reality, it is only him who can fix it.

In this episode, we talk about how business owners should strive to be a charismatic leader. Someone who sets the mood in the boardroom and leads.

It is just as important to be an alpha in your business as well as an alpha in your relationship.

As a man in your bedroom, you should also be the one who sets the mood and leads in order to seduce your wife. Be the one leading your marriage. Seeing their husbands be tough enough to make decisions and leading the relationship is sexy & seductive to wives. 

While you are doing your best for your business to grow, you can also be the best husband to your wife. Make it a priority to make your partner feel important. Take her on vacation and create intimate moments together. Team up with your wife to fire up the intimacy and nurture the relationship.

Know her love language and know how she wants to receive it. Give her reasons to think that you are sexy even in the most simple things that you do, allowing her to trust you more. 

Don’t fall into the trap that most men do of sacrificing their relationship by spending their time and energy hustling. Manage your energy to avoid disconnecting from your partner and maintain your position as an alpha in the boardroom as well as in the bedroom.

Your Outer World is a Reflection of Your Inner World

As apart of growing up, we have all been exposed to external influences like our society. The norms and standards have been programmed in our minds and being unable to meet them will make us feel frustrated and overwhelmed.

We start to feel that we are not good enough and we get tired trying to constantly fit in and meet the requirements set by society.

Society taught us that money would make us happy and that we should hustle in order to become successful and if we are successful we will get everything we want including love and respect. This idea becomes our marker of being successful and not being able to do this will make us feel not good enough.

What we do next is we grind harder thinking that the answer is to “do better” and as the cycle continues with the result of feeling even more tired and frustrated. Falling into this bait ends up making us feel more empty and alone. While we get busy hustling to make money, we don’t realize that we start losing our relationships, forget our priorities and push aside the things that really matter in our lives.

Break the cycle, reprogram your mindset and priorities and reflect on what is really going on inside you. Acknowledge that there is a problem, take ownership and make a change.

Raise your standards because what happens in the external is a complete reflection of your standards.

The Blame Game

When business owners feel that they are not good enough and they don’t have control over their lives and businesses it transmutes to the people around them. When they feel uncertain, people in the workplace will feel the sense of unease of not being led confidently.

When you feel that you are not enough, you tend to hustle because you think that you should be doing more and better. Hustling, which is frantic energy, will be felt by the people around you and nobody wants to be around someone with frantic energy. If this cycle continues you will eventually feel empty inside, burnout and will experience broken relationships.

Instead of blaming others for the things going on around you, which is a trap many of us fall into, focus on addressing your own issues first. How to Seduce Your Wife

In this episode, Tim and Doug share some ways they are seducing their partners. 

As the man, you should be the one to take the lead and make your partner feel seen and desired. But…how exactly can you do that? This is a topic that comes up often at The Alpha Reset.

How to End Self-Sabotage

Episode #47

That feeling of emptiness…no matter how hard you try…is always a result of your unconscious commitments.

Unconscious commitments, as defined in this episode, are the things occurring in our lives as repeating patterns that we do not like. If we do not identify these patterns or beliefs that we are unconsciously committed into, it will result in self-sabotage.

A work ethic that is instilled in us is to work hard to be more successful. As a result of an unconscious commitment to this belief, we end up hustling and sacrificing our relationships or personal happiness. We struggle and grind to make more money, believing that this will enable us to prove ourselves to other people that we can also make it. Instead of using or spending money to show off, we should invest it for our personal growth and focus on what will really make us happy.

To end self-sabotage, we should identify the patterns or beliefs that are already programmed into our minds. We should reflect on what we really feel, acknowledge it, and take radical steps to make a change. We get to reprogram these unconscious commitments and change them into more empowering beliefs.

The Alpha Recap

Episode #46

There is no transformation that goes rapidly. It is a continuous work, commitment, and improvement. The result of the transformation is based on your level of standards.

Some men use time and money as an excuse but it is really their standards that are preventing them to achieve transformation. They feel that they are not worthy of those standards because they think they are too high for them.

Unconscious commitments prevent us from growing and raising our standards. Men always find ways on how to make themselves busy even if it is not working for them because we are taught by the society that when we are busy it means we are successful, in demand and significant. We do not realize that these beliefs or norms will impede our transformation or growth and it will soon ruin our lives.

Men in the brotherhood are also businessmen, they have families and most of them are even leaders of their communities. They have high time demands yet they are able to maintain their standards and are always raising it. As a result, they are also able to lift the standards of the people around them.

Raising the standard doesn’t really require more time and money. It only requires a mindset shift and a commitment to a transformation. Commit to continuously do work and improve. Start with yourself, stay away from the patterns dictated by society and achieve that higher standard of living.
